Had a fun shoot this morning with the M family. I didn't think I was going to have much time to edit until I after I get home from a family trip that I leave on Friday, but it turns out I was wrong. When I got home, my husband and kiddo were napping -- and hard -- so I got to jump in and start editing. Here's a quick peek at some of the results so far:
A couple of weeks ago, I headed down to Solomons, Md., and participated in a photowalk as part ofWorld Wide Photo Walk Day, which is an international event.
My friend Vicki invited me, and I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I had a fabulous time, despite temperatures of more than 100 degrees.
As part of the event, each participant is asked to submit an image to the contest. One image from each site is chosen, and those go into the international competition.
I was so surprised and excited to learn today that my photo of this lemonade jar was chosen as the winning image for the Solomons walk. There were so many great photographs that I am still shocked the judge picked little ole me!
My only regret is not accepting a glass of lemonade when it was offered to me. I don't know what I was thinking.
