Who's that?

  • I'm Sarah Kelber, a photographer in the Howard County, Maryland, area.
    Tired of those boring Portrait-O-Matic photos of your kids? Or scheduling a portrait session, but your child is in a bad mood and uncomfortable, and it shows?
    Book a session with me for something completely different: photographs captured in your home or at a nearby location where you and your children are comfortable and able to be yourselves. My goal is to capture every subject -- whether it's an adult getting headshots, a child getting birthday pictures or a family gathered for a portrait -- in their element to showcase their personality.

K family portraits

I've known the K family since their little one and my son were a few weeks old, thanks to our awesome new moms' group. This past weekend, I got the chance to shoot their family portraits, and it was such fun! This age (about 15 months) is tough because the kids scatter everywhere, but A. was game and hung in there for a long time, letting us shoot in a couple of locations in this park. Sweet new human Sam

Sunday evening, I had the amazing opportunity to photograph little Sam, who just joined us here on Earth last week.

His fabulous parents are so obviously in love with him, I was getting misty while I was editing some of the photos.
