Who's that?

  • I'm Sarah Kelber, a photographer in the Howard County, Maryland, area.
    Tired of those boring Portrait-O-Matic photos of your kids? Or scheduling a portrait session, but your child is in a bad mood and uncomfortable, and it shows?
    Book a session with me for something completely different: photographs captured in your home or at a nearby location where you and your children are comfortable and able to be yourselves. My goal is to capture every subject -- whether it's an adult getting headshots, a child getting birthday pictures or a family gathered for a portrait -- in their element to showcase their personality.

I've been doing a lot of research and practice on different lighting techniques lately. I took this photo of my son this morning bouncing my flash off the window behind us.

He is pretty tired of getting his picture taken, but I think that is probably just too bad. :)
